Whenever I tell someone I don’t drink, more often than not they’ll say: do you mind me asking why?

Hilariously, someone asked me that exact question recently during a gym class and expected a response as I sprinted on the assault bike.

What they want is a one-sentence summary. Something digestible like: oh, I was an alcoholic.

But it’s impossible to sum it…
